The mailing that leaves a mark.
Touch is one of our most evocative and powerful senses. In these digital times, however, we often tend to forget about it. As touch cannot be replicated online, we decided to create a Direct Mail that – literally – leaves a mark on the most difficult audience on the market: advertising managers.
On behalf of Print Power – a pan-European organisation that promotes print media, we decided to send these advertising managers a blackboard card covered with chalk. They were instructed to wipe off the chalk with their hand, revealing a hidden message: “Effective Direct Mail is Direct Mail That Leaves A Mark”. All they had to do then was touch a sticker sheet to leave the print of their chalk-covered hand.
By sending back their imprint, they could also receive an individualised notebook with their own handprint on the cover – clearly proving that our printed Direct Mail really “touched” them.
Our “Touched by DM” European campaign delivered impressive results and high ROI.
These are outstanding results compared to the average return rate of 0.5 and 1%.
